NBSC Leads 52EB Client Satisfaction Survey Validation for School Infrastructure Projects Across Eastern Mindanao
In a seven-day regional engagement from July 14 to 20, 2025, the Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) Research Team, under the leadership of College President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, successfully conducted a series of 52nd Engineer Brigade (52EBde) Monitoring and Evaluation (Client Satisfaction Survey) Data Validation activities across four key municipalities in Eastern Mindanao—Kidapawan City, Sto. Tomas in Davao del Norte, Tago in Surigao del Sur, and Talakag in Bukidnon. The primary objective was to present and validate research results for completed school-building projects designed to enhance access to education and promote sustainable rural development.
The team began in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato, working with the 512th Engineer Construction Battalion (EBde) and the local government unit (LGU) of Kidapawan City to validate the completed school building project at Sitio Sumayahon, Barangay Perez. They proceeded to Sto. Tomas to convey the result on the school classroom building in Sitio Talos, Barangay San Jose, in coordination with the local government and the 534th ECB. Following the activity, the team traveled to Tago for the validation of a makeshift school building in Sitio Himat-e, Barangay Cayale, supported by the LGU of Tago and in partnership with the 544th ECB. The final leg took place in Talakag, Bukidnon, where the team partnered with the 504th ECB, the LGU of Talakag, and the non-governmental organization (NGO) “Joint Together Society” (JTS) to validate the completed four-classroom school building in Sitio Tinaytayan, San Miguel.
The collaborative efforts throughout the week-long mission reflect NBSC’s continued commitment to community-based research and development, strengthening the impact of public and non-government-supported educational infrastructure projects in rural Mindanao.
NBSC extends its heartfelt gratitude to the partner LGUs, the 512th, 534th, and 544th Engineering Construction Battalions, the 504th Combat Engineer Battalion, and the JTS for their invaluable support in ensuring the success of this regional initiative.
